(f\\10 @ 1\/50 sec)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Davis12_9065.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-396\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Davis12_9065-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"207\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Davis12_9065-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Davis12_9065.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the second image (with the sun shining through it), the flower was\u00a0on\u00a0a slight rise and I shot up at it as I lay flat out on forest floor.\u00a0 Sometimes you have to get dirty.<br \/>\n(f\\7 @ 1\/250 sec)<\/p>\n<p>In both cases here I used a reflector to kick a bit of light up into the face of the flower.\u00a0 This helps the first image simply because the flower is much darker than the background.
