(Probably sunrise too, but I have not witnessed that.)<br \/>\nBut as most photographers point their cameras toward the sun, they may miss out on some of the best scenes &#8230; which do not directly include the sun.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Davis12_1010715_small.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-371\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Davis12_1010715_small-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Davis12_1010715_small-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.kevindavisphoto.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/Davis12_1010715_small.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This image was shot with a micro-four-thirds camera (Panasonic Lumix G3) and captured as RAW.\u00a0 While JPEG images have already been processed (by the camera), RAW images receive no processing.\u00a0 In my experience, RAW images tend to look flat and require some post-processing (by me).\u00a0 While this scene appeared well to my human eyes, the camera capture was very low contrast.\u00a0 So the significant post-processing was to increase the contrast.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Tennesee, anybody can enjoy Great Smoky Mountain National Park at no cost.\u00a0 There are no entrance fees and no parking fees.\u00a0 Apparrently this was part of the deal when the land was acquired (from native American Indians).\u00a0 And you can simply drive to the top of Clingman&#8217;s Dome.
